The Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper said that Miri Regev, the Minister of Transport, decided to link Tel Aviv, in the occupied lands of 1948, and the settlements in the north of the occupied West Bank with a train.

The newspaper said that the first train carriage arrived last week. It is a mixture of a railway and a bus. It can transport 500 passengers. It reported that the train was decided to connect Tel Aviv, Lod, Ramla and Rishon LeZion; but Regev said it would only connect Tel Aviv with the settlements.
