Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Foreign Minister, told CNN that normalization with the occupation's entity inside the Middle East would benefit the entire region at economic, social and security levels. He added that he did not know whether there was an approaching normalization deal with his country or not.
He did confirm, however, that normalization cannot succeed except if the Palestinian issue is resolved and a Palestinian state at 1967 borders is established.
Last January, the Foreign Minister said that normalization with the occupation is bound by the achievement of peace, and establishment of a Palestinian state with 'east Al-Quds' as its capital as had been stated in the Arab Peace Initiative.
