The soldiers assaulted the Jerusalemites protesting against the threatened houses of being seized in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in the occupied Al-Quds, and fired sound bombs at them.
The EU warned against the theft and demolition of homes in the neighborhood and displacement of the citizens.
The EU spokesperson said in a press release that the occupation's declaration of establishing new 540 settlement units in north Bethlehem would separate Al-Quds from Bethlehem, and prevent any future negotiations over the two-state solution.
The EU re-expressed its position on the illegality of the settlements in accordance with the International Law, and that it would not recognize any changes after the 1967 borders, including changes in Al-Quds, unless an agreement is reached between the two parties. The EU urged the occupation to stop the establishment of settlements.
