Robert Mardini, Director-General of the International Red Cross Committee, stated in a press conference the Committee's willingness to mediate in the prisoner's swap deal between the Palestinians and the occupation.

He said that he had informed both parties of the Committee's willingness to be a neutral mediator in negotiations for a swap of prisoners or human remains, and that all families deserve to know the fate of their loved ones and move on.

Mardini also said that everything he had seen and heard in his visits to Palestine and the entity requires an immediate solution, and the aids were not enough to prevent horrific nights from returning.
