Hamas movement condemned Honduras for opening its embassy in occupied Al-Quds and deemed it as a violation of the International Law which described Al-Quds as an occupied city, and a violation of the Palestinian people's right to obtain an independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.
Hamas urged Honduras to undo such move and abide by the Law which had already rejected the relocation of the American Embassy to Al-Quds.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jordan condemned such move and emphasized its rejection and condemnation. It also described this act as a violation of the International Law and other international resolutions, and stressed that any measures that aim to change the situation of Al-Quds or its legal status are null and illegal.
