The Lebanese Al-Akhbar newspaper revealed in a report on Operation Al-Quds Sword the developments in the Palestinian resistance' assets, and its continuous improvement of rockets and accuracy of targeting to hit highly-accurate Israeli targets with high-explosive warheads. The report also mentioned the huge improvement in its artillery.

The newspaper said that despite the occupation's identification and bombardment of several rocket-launching locations in the last war on the Gaza Strip, nothing really changed. The rockets may have been already fired, and many other locations were undetected.

The newspaper's sources from the resistance told it that it had intel on the occupation's employment of an advanced technological system that identifies the locations of the rockets' launch. It traces any change in heat that surrounds the location of the firing. However, before the battle had begun the resistance' experts prepared a very primitive mechanism to overcome such Israeli technology and mislead it far from the rocket-launching locations.
