PA’s Demands to Biden's Administration

Channel 12 reported that the PA prepared a list of "secret" demands to deliver to Biden's Administration before resuming the US-sponsored talks with the occupation.

 

The PA’s most signigicant demands are reopening the Orient House, which was the PLO’s headquarters between 1980-1990 until the occupation had it closed in 2001, and other Palestinian orgnizations in occupied Al-Quds. It also asked for returning the status quo of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa as it used to be regarding the size of deployed troops and the settlers' break-ins, and strengthening the position of the PA’s envoys.

Among the demands are stopping the expulsion of Jerusalemites; freeing "the fourth batch" of the Palestinian prisinors in accordinate with an incomplete, old agreement with the occupation; releasing the women, elderly and minors; and retrieving the martyrs' bodies.

The list also demanded the occupation to cessate the settlments' expansion; evict all outposts in the West Bank; stop demolition of houses in Jordan Valley; stop the occupation forces’ incursions of the Palestinian cities; hand the confiscated weapons to the PA forces; resume the approval of family reunions; increase the number of work permits for Palestinians in the 1948 occupied lands; return the PA police, employees and customs' officers to  Allenby crossing as it used to be after Oslo Accords; operate the crossing for goods’ movement in Jisr ed Damiye; establish a national airport in the West Bank and a trade zone near Jericho; allocate areas in the territories under the PA control to build factories and a power plant, and implement tourisim projects; and transfer the jurisdiction of planning and licencing to the PA.

The PA also demanded the amendment to the economic Paris Agreement so that the coming goods to the WB would be exempted from customs, and customs would not be collected by the occupation; and the upgrade of the cellphone network in the WB to G4.
