During an interview on Channel 12, the journalist on Arab affairs, Judah Yari, said that the United States’ administration was angry with the Palestinian Authority, as it sent warning messages to President Mahmoud Abbas.

He added that the US President Joe Biden had been angry at President Abbas's speech and the time he had given him to withdraw recognition of the Israeli entity a year later, and had asked him, through the Foreign Ministry envoy, Hadi Ammar, to abide by the recognition of the entity by the late Palestinian President Yasser Arafat in 1993.

He had also asked Abbas to make reforms and changes to the Palestinian Authority Authority, particularly the current Government of Mohamed Shtayyeh. Moreover, he has prevented Abbas from establishing a technocratic government with Hamas, which does not recognize the Israeli occupation entity.
