Colonial settlers assaulted a group of Palestinians near the area of Bab Al-Amoud, with protection from the Israeli occupation forces who arrested a young man.
The massive spread of the occupying forces in Bab al-Amoud follows the decision of the court not to allow settlers to perform silent Talmudic rituals in the Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, fearing Palestinian reactions.
The Holy City witnessed the arrival of large numbers of worshippers at the Al-Masjid, after activists and holy figures launched calls for Rabat in response to repeated incursions by settlement groups.
