Injuries in Al-Yusufia Cemetery in Al-Quds

Oct 11, 2021 09:54 am

The Israeli occupation forces attacked Palestinian citizens after dredging parts of the Yusufia cemetery adjacent to the Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa in the occupied city of Al-Quds, to turn it into a public park and prevent the Palestinians from building new graves there.

Dozens of townspeople gathered at the cemetery in rejection of the occupation’s dredging. Hence, they were assaulted by the Israeli occupation forces and others were injured by bullets and bombs.

The cemetery has been under fierce occupation for years. The so-called ‘municipality of occupation’ has been besieging the cemetery and surrounding it informed with Judaizing projects, and Talmudic gardens along the east fence of the city, in order to hide the historical sites and roads around the cemetery.
