Jawad Boulos, an attorney, said that the Israeli occupation’s court decided to reduce the administrative detention of the prisoner Hesham Abu Hawwash from 6 to 4 months. He confirmed that this decision is non-material, as the Israeli occupation might release a new decision against him.

Abu Hawwash has been on an open hunger strike for 84 days in rejection of his administrative detention in the Israeli occupation prisons. He lies in Al-Ramla prison’s clinic now. He was sentenced to 6 months of administrative detention despite his harsh health situation to be the third decision since his arrest.

Abu Hawwash, 39, is married and a father to 5 children. He has been arrested since 2020. Moreover, he is an ex-prisoner, who spent about 8 years in the Israeli prisons.
