Maariv newspaper reported that the planning phase to establish an industrial zone between the Israeli occupation and Gaza on the debris of the Erez industrial zone, destroyed in 2004, was done. 

It noted that the plan includes Israeli factories with workers from Gaza. It also pointed out that the occupation’s government has not discussed this step yet, additing that if the plan was checed, the political level of the Israeli occupation will be asked to take the decision. 

According to the expected appreciations, thousands of Palestinians laborers will be employed in the planned industrial zone. 

It also said that if no progresses were recorded in the prisoners’ issue, the Israeli government will be asked to decided to which term it is ready to improve the economic situation, and maintain the security position without making any progress in negotiations of other causes.
