200 Casualties in Nablus

The result of the clashes between the towns of Beta and Beit Djinn in Nablus in the occupied West Bank was more than 200 casualties, including injuries sustained by live and metal bullets, asphyxiation with tear gas and other injuries.

Clashes broke out in the towns between young men and Israeli occupation forces following the latter's crackdown on settlement marches, injuring a young man with live bullets, 28 citizens with metal bullets, including a journalist who was shot in the foot, a young man with a metal bullet in the eye, while the rest of the injuries were caused by inhalation of poisonous tear gas.

Weekly demonstrations are taking place in the towns of Beta and Beit Djinn, to reject settlement and to demand the removal of settlements on the lands of the two towns.
