Overwhelming Majority Vote in the United Nations in Favour of Palestine

The United Nations General Assembly declared five resolutions on the Palestinian issue by an overwhelming majority.

The Assembly voted on the resolution of supporting the Palestinian refugees, including UNRWA, with the support of 164 States. In addition, the second resolution on UNRWA operations received a majority of 162 States, and the third resolution on Palestine refugee property and income received the support of 159 States.

The fourth resolution on settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory, including eastern Al-Quds and the occupied Syrian Golan, had the support of 146 States. The resolution on the work of the Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Occupation Practices Affecting the Human Rights of the Palestinian People was ranked fifth with the support of 80 States.
