The Egyptian Reconstruction Commission for Gaza announced the start of the second phase of the reconstruction of what was destroyed by the Israeli occupation during its latest aggression against the Strip last May.

A representative of the Egyptian Commission said that phase II would include 6 projects and would be implemented under the guidance of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Egyptian engineering teams were working to rebuild the destroyed areas and provide opportunities for local Palestinian companies to participate in reconstruction.

The six projects in phase II include the development of the Cornish seafront in northern Gaza, the establishment of 3 residential cities, in various areas of the Strip, as well as the development of the important intersections of Gaza City, while the rest of the projects are not mentioned.
