The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine's official, Jamil Mezher, launched an initiative that includes a national vision to end the division and restore the Palestinian unity.

The vision of the Popular Front included five key items, namely the reconstruction of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the formation of a transitional National Council for one year to prepare for the elections of the National Council with the participation of national and Islamic forces in accordance with the principle of full proportional representation.

The second was to reverse the decision to cancel all-inclusive elections as an entry point to end division, and the third was based on the formation of a unified Palestinian Government liberated from the Quartet's international requirements.

Fourth, the agreement on a national political programme that would degrade the Oslo Accords and its security, political and economic commitments was the fourth item of the vision and, finally, the formation of a unified national leadership leading and managing the popular resistance
