Israeli media reported that a settler was killed and two injured in a shootout near Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

The media said that armed Palestinians had fired at a number of settlers in a vehicle, killing one of them and injuring others, while the shooter had withdrawn from the scene, and the soldiers had begun to search for them by the occupying army.

The Israeli site Hadshot reported that during the past weeks there have been several warnings on the part of the occupation forces about resistance cells planning to carry out shootings.
