Ghadir Salama (55) was deliberately run over by a settler at the entrance to the town of Sangel, north of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.

There was a force of occupation army and police in place to secure the movement of settlers on the settlement road adjacent to the town.

Eyewitnesses said the settler deliberately ran over her despite reaching the sidewalk and fled.

Four years ago, settlers reportedly ran over two children in the same place, killing one of them, while the other had a permanent disability.
