Dec 26, 2021 09:33 am

During violent confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces, 320 Palestinians were injured in the town of Barqa in Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

Ahmed Jibril, The director of the Nablus Red Crescent Ambulance and Emergency Center, said that 5 citizens were shot; one seriously injured while the majority were asphyxiated by inhalation of toxic and tear gas.

The occupation forces closed the main entrance to Barqa amid clashes with young men who fled to counter a march called for by settlers from the site of the Homeish settlement.

The occupation army declared the outpost of Homesh in the north of Nablus as a closed military zone to which settlers are prohibited from entering, because of the intense confrontations in the area and the youth force in defending their town.
