Human rights institutes warned of the dangerous situations of the prisoners in the Israeli prisons, especially the elderies and patients due to the freezing weather and the outbreak of the coronavirus in the prisons. 

The administration of the Israeli prisons bans the entry of the heating facilities inside the prisons, and limits the number of blankets and clothes allowed in a room.

The activists Hesham Al-Sharbati also warned of the overcrowded cells, as this increases the outbreak of diseases and viruses, especially the coronavirus, among the prisoners.
