Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported that the Palestinian Authority rejected an American suggestion to transfer the prisoners’ salaries to of the Ministry of Social Affairs. 

The spokesperson of the Prisoners’ Affairs Commission said that the transfer of the prisoners’ salaries to the Ministry of Social Affairs is rejected by all the Palestinians as it is an underestimation of the Palestinians’ resistance and a melting of the prisoners’ sacrifices.
