Ismail Haniyeh, the chief of the political office of Hamas, confirmed that what is happening in Al-Masjid Al-Aqss will lead all the strategic dimensions of the conflict to escalation. 

“If you ever think that storming Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa will change the Islamic identity of the Al-Masjid, you are absolutely wrong,” Heniyeh said in a press release, addressing the occupation. 

He also stressed that the Al-Aqsa’s murtabiton and murabitat are the first defense line of Al-Masjid. He also said that “just as the Palestinian people defeated the so-called March of Flags, they will defeat the occupation’s policy of raids as well.”
