A special source revealed to the local agency Safa that a delegation from Hamas had gone to the Russian capital Moscow for "important" discussions with Russian officials.

The source explained that the delegation was headed by Hamas' Vice-President abroad, Musa Abu Marzouq, and would hold a series of meetings with Russian Foreign Ministry officials and other officials to discuss the situation in Al-Quds, developments on the ground in the Palestinian arena and bilateral relations between Russia and the movement.

The visit comes as the Russian-Israeli relations are in remarkable tension due to the war in Ukraine.
