Deteriorating Health Status of Two Prisoners in Occupation Prisons

The Palestinian Prisoners' Club said that the prisoners Khalil Awawdah,40, and the eldrey Abdul Rahman Salah (69) suffer from a serious health status.

The prisoner Khalil Awawdah, who has been on hunger strike for 77 days in rejection of his administrative detention, has a serious health condition, in the prison of Ramla Clinic. Awawdah suffers from loss of control of his body, speech difficulty, poor visibility and concentration, severe aches in the head and limbs, as well as severe wasting and weakness. The prisoner's lawyer stated that the prison administration refused to provide him with clothes and had not allowed him to shower for a week.

The elderly prisoner Abdul Rahman Salah, 69, suffers from severe lack of consideration and weight loss, and other health problems such as diabetes and chronic stress. The club added that the prison administration exercises a policy of medical neglect and prolonged treatment, and is one of the prisoners freed in the free and re-arrested liberation deal.
