Al Jazeera Network reported that it had decided to refer the case of Shireen Abu Aqleh’s assassination to the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, in cooperation with international legal experts. 

Al Jazeera’s decision came after the Palestinian Attorney GenerL Akram Al-Khateeb, in a press conference held in the presidency Office in Ramallah, confirmed that the Israeli occupation killed Abu Aqleh. 

He said that the occupation had a clear vision of the journalists’ site in Jenin. He also added that Shireen’s assassination was direct and deliberate, noting that the elements of war crime were present. 

Hussein Al-Sheikh, the Secretary of the Consecutive Committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, said that the committee delivered a copy of the General Prosecution’s report on Shireen’s assassination, and the copy will be handed over to her family and Al Jazeera.
