Extension of "Emergency Regulations" Law in West Bank Settlements Falls

Jun 07, 2022 12:03 pm

The Israeli occupation Knesset dropped the law to extend the emergency regulations in occupied West Bank settlements, Channel 12 said.

The United List and Meretz deputies withdrew from the session, missed the vote, and abstained from opposing the law that entrenches apartheid in the occupied West Bank, and the Knesset member of the Yemeni party Idit Suleimani withdrew and missed the vote.

The Israeli coalition had discussed the possibility of shifting the vote of law as a vote of confidence in the government by putting it into a single pacto vote with the reappointment of MK Metan Kahana as Minister of Religion.
