The European Union is deeply concerned about the “Ateret Cohanim” colonial organization’s control over the properties of The Rome Arthodox in Bab Al-Khaleel in Occupied Al-Quds. 

It said in a statement issued thorugh its representative in Al-Quds that the occupation court’s rejection of the Rome Arthodox’s appeal against the organization’s control of their properties exposes the Palestinians to the risk of evacuation, increases the pressure exerted on the Christian presence in Al-Quds, and endangers the peaceful coexistence and religious balance in the city. It also called for maintaining the freedom of religoins and the city’s identity.
