International human rights experts have called on the Israeli occupation to immediately release the Palestinian prisoner Ahmed Manasreh (20 years old), who has been detained in its prisons for 7 years.
5 experts signed a joint statement calling for Manasreh’s release as an advocate, considering that his continued detention amid his deteriorating psychological condition was a disgrace to all the international human rights community, stressing that his deteriorating mental health was due to the harsh conditions of his detention and frequent solitary confinement.
"We still remember those painful scenes of a broken-bone child lying on the ground under a barrage of insults and threats shouted by foreign language militants."
The prisoner Manaseh was sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment in 2015 without taking into account his then young age (14 years).
