The Israeli army wants us to believe its lie that there's a great possibility beyond the reason pushed "Duvdevan Unit" to shoot Shireen Abu Akla; calming they thought she was a Palestinian gunman, because she was wearing a helmet and a vest. Despite the periscope they have, which can provide them with four times zoomed from inside the military bulletproof car where they sit.
From a civilian, not a military perspective, these conclusions came from the new policy of covering-up that the Israeli army conducts and also call as "Investigation". The first conclusion we can come to is that, if the leader of the soldier allows him to keep shooting 10 bullets toward the correspondents then the Israeli army situation is really bad. The second conclusion is that the Israeli army along with its officers and soldiers are underestimating the Palestinians' life values.
It's known that there are five main requirements to not blame the Israeli army for killing a Palestinian citizen, but for killing Abu Akla journalist, only four have been met. First: the Israeli society believes that their soldiers are sent to equal-power battles. Second: the Israeli people don't believe eyewitnesses and the separate investigations either from foreign media or human rights organizations. Third: the Israeli policy of neglecting the long list of the crimes against the Palestinians. Fourth: addressing the security forces' mission as the protector and defender of the settlement project. Fifth and last: covering the identities of the Palestinian victims or even not addressing their personal lives so that they won't receive sympathy. But, as for Shireen Abu Akla this condition did not achieved, as she is an American- Palestinian media iconic. So, is it all about a soldiers or some who got confused? Or should there be hidden factors which are greatly associated with such government using them for improve its settlement project?
