The British Parliament demanded its government to recognize a Palestinian state during an exceptional session that was held in the attendance of Palestine Ambassador to the UK Hussam Zumlut. The latter stressed his rejection of the annexation policy and his adherence to the two-state solution at 1967 borders according to the international resolutions. He also said that he stands for achieving peace and regaining the Palestinian people’s rights. Zumlut said in a phone call to Wafa Agency that the session was a clear message representing the public opinion that supports the Palestinian cause. He also invited the British government to take real stances, recognize Palestine, and impose sanctions on the occupation.
