Gaza's Directorate General of Civil Defence announced the recovery of 21 bodies from a residential building where a large fire broke out in Jabalia Camp, north of Gaza City.

Civil Defence crews rushed to put out the fire with police support, but the fire was large and severe, and no one in the house survived.

According to Gaza's Ministry of the Interior, preliminary investigations into the incident indicate that a large quantity of gasoline was stored inside the house, resulting in a massive fire and the death of 21 people, mostly children and women.
