Welcome, Karim Younis. I am very pleased with your liberation; the hug by young people, women's Zagarid (ululations) and the facial expressions of this old man. It seems to be the first time a person has hugged him in 40 years spent in prison; this is the first time he can walk freely.

Karim Younis was sentenced to life imprisonment for his involvement in the murder of soldier Avi Bromberg. Almost no prisoner remains in prison for 40 years for one murder, which is an inhumane and unbalanced sanction by all standards. Even at the time of his release, Israel acted with him disgracefully. He was thrown at Ra'anana bus station so that the people of his village Wadi Ara would not rejoice.

Itmar Ben Gvir! Not every Palestinian prisoner is a murderer, and even a murderer has the right to be detained in just and reasonable conditions of detention than security prisoners. Forty years without vacations, telephone conversations or the possibility of marriage, this is the face of injustice in a state where soldiers kill young and old every day. Palestinians in the occupied interior have the right to consider Younis a hero and to rejoice in his release.

When will Israelis begin to understand that these people are brave soldiers that struggle for national liberation. They are not only brave in the eyes of their people, but also when viewed realistically. So, when will human feelings flare up for their sake?
