During clashes in Qarawat Bani Hassan, West Salfit in the occupied West Bank, a young man was killed by settler bullets and dozens of others were suffocated. 

According to the Health Ministry, Methqal Rayan, 27, died as a result of a settler bullet wound to the head. This happened after clashes followed by the settlers’ storming of the village of Qarawat Bani Hassan, attack on citizens' assets and violent assaults on farmers. 

Rayan has been added to the list of martyrs, which has grown to 46 as of this point in the year, including 9 children and an elderly woman.
