Egypt is currently undergoing a severe economic crisis, and thus President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi eagerly asks for a financial support from abroad. Countries that can unconditionally help are the states of the Persian Gulf, most importantly, the Saudi Arabia. To fulfill this, he should release statements supporting Palestinians as an indication that he belongs to their party. He thus found the chance to release such a statement in Al-Quds conference held by  the Arab League in Cairo. 

In the conference, El-Sisi delivered a hard-hitting speech in which he said untrue facts. Among which is that Israel storms Al-Aqsa, which is not true. El-Sisi must differentiate between Al-Masjid itself and its yards. Moreover, El-Sisi talked about one-sided procedures that Israel carries out in Al-Quds, like land confiscation to Judaize the city.  

A true image about the reality and the status quo in Al Masjid should be presented to the public. Israel, Egypt, and Jordan desire to maintain this reality, preventing any inaccurate or untrue statements to come out.

The status quo in Al Masjid is that the Israeli occupation's rules dominate the Jews movements. They allow Jews to visit Al-Aqsa, but not to pray in it. Besides Israel and its police controlling the security inside Al-Aqsa, Islamic waqf and Jordan will continue to run the Islamic holy places. This information is important for us as much as it is for our neighbors and the whole world. As El-Sisi is committed to peace, this constitutes a vital cornerstone in the dispute. The real image about the situation in the area should be transferred to him, so that he doesn't depend on any information from Israel's opponents.
