The Chief of General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Herzi Halevi, warned of the consequences of the spread of the phenomenon of refusing to join the military reserve units, in protest against the laws of judiciary restriction.
Halevi instructed the army commanders to conduct dialogue with the soldiers to explain to them the seriousness of this phenomenon for the future of the army. In a related context, there're about 37 out of 40 pilots who refused to join the reserve units. Those pilots basically run a squadron of strategic aircraft used for strategic attacks against distant targets with qualitative strikes.
