To Work Not to Speak

This has become commonplace: official forums, political analysts, and reporters warn of the dangers of the approaching Ramadan and the expected Palestinian response, especially in light of the establishment of the most right-wing government in Israel. However, an examination of the given information shows that the estimates are exaggerated.

Let's take the year of the most resistance for the Palestinians in the last decade, the year of 2015. In the months of October until December of that year, most of the resistance operations took place in Al-Quds, and it was after three months of Ramadan, while in Ramadan, the operations were much less.

The analysis of the given information for the last three years indicates a fake factor. In 2020, 71 Fedayeen operations were recorded without deaths, compared to 80 Fedayeen operations after Ramadan of the same year, and the same in 2021 and 2022. Hamas succeeded in persuading the Israelis to link the Palestinian resistance with Ramadan after rocketing missiles towards the settlements in 2022 in response to the occupation violations in Al-Quds at the time.

Maybe these statements of an approaching war in Ramadan emanate from the widespread Israeli security mobilization to combat it. It's noteworthy to say that official Israeli forums claim to link Ramadan with Palestinian violence, and warn of its repercussions, which embody their expectations. Therefore, they must prepare themselves well, and stop wasting time on speeches.
