Destruction or Calmness

Israel hands in the balance because it might encounter a regional traditional war that it has never known since the Nakba and the establishment of the Zionist entity.

In the previous 20 years, the Israeli army has drastically declined due to the leadership of 5 different chiefs of staff. This made it unprepared for a battle involving multiple fonts. Significantly, the risk to the army and its inability did not begin with the installation of the Likud-led government three months ago. Also, the army became disorganized as a result of the reserve soldiers' refusal to join the army.

Hoping the rejection will stop once it is decided to suspend the legislation. Yoav Gallant, a man with significant combat and leadership experience, was let go, but this led to a great deal of unrest. In actuality, Gallant's service to the army was invaluable. Knowing well the difficult challenges the army faced, he made the decision to find a solution and lead the army in the correct direction. Notably, firing Gallant will negatively impact the army's ability to reform. With this in mind, I do not see any Likud candidate who can replace Gallant without waiting to get familiar with the army's capabilities or just learning about them.

We are fighting amongst ourselves rather than preparing for the nearby conflict that poses a threat to our existence. The Israeli society is seriously threatened by this because it will be left defenseless in the face of 250 000 missiles, a march, and dozens of resistance fighters qualified by Iran and its supporters over the past 20 years.

Officials must understand that our enemies are waiting for the exact moment to attack and eliminate us. We are committed to keep discussing till the end to reach compromise. Either calmness or destruction will mark this time in history.
