Given that no government in the past 20 years has been able to come up with a solution to the Gaza situation and put an end to the misery of the Gaza's envelop settlements' settlers, we are probably waiting for further rounds of escalation, like the most recent one.
Even though Israel had the best army in the Middle East, it was unable to confront  Palestinian resistance in Gaza, and in reality abandoned the Gaza's envelop settlements' settlers to their fate. This comes within the framework of heavy fortification that cost billions of shekels, such as the Iron Dome, a subterranean wall against tunneling, oversight devices, and so on.
The unspoken truth is that Hamas has recently decided to export resistance to Lebanon and the occupied West Bank for tactical and geopolitical reasons, while at the same time consolidating its power in Gaza.
Despite the fact that we have already discovered that the assassination of the top resistance leaders does not actually end resistance. Instead, a new revolutionary leader emerges, necessitating the use of this technique. Israel must address the Gaza issue as soon as possible, whether it takes the form of a long-term agreement with international guarantees and plans to rebuild Gaza. On the other hand, a war of elimination should be taken into consideration, resulting in the complete destruction of Hamas and the Islamic Jihad Movement. The situation we are in now cannot last.
