Yoav Gallant, the Defense Minister, and Bezalel Smotrich, the Minister of Finance, are working to relocate the yeshiva that was constructed in the displaced settlement of Homesh to a nearby region that is thought to belong to the entity. However, the Palestinian landowners of the yeshiva's construction filed a petition with the High Court requesting the evacuation of the outpost and access to their lands.

Along with considering other options, the ministers are working on a method that will frustrate the petition and validate the outpost. Minister Gallant instructed the Central District Commander to sign a document allowing the Israelis to remain in Homesh at the same time.

"The Minister of Defense will personally sign a circumvention process_ as yeshiva is being moved a few hundred meters from the private lands of the residents of Burqa and other villages to the lands of settlement whose owners are unknown_ will not end up with a compromise," according to the "There is Ruling" association. This association  represents the Palestinian landowners who filed the petition with the Supreme Court. The association emphasized that as long as the yeshiva  is present, the landowners' rights would continue to be violated because they won't be able to safely access their lands.    Legalizing the outpost is against international law, a gift and an incentive for criminals.

There are various temporary structures in the outpost that are periodically evacuated and then quickly rebuilt. In more recent times, the location served as a hub for settlers' general gatherings.
