Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, aspires to a normalization agreement or political compromise with Saudi Arabia that will have an impact on the new nuclear agreement that has been woven between the United States and Iran. He is eagerly waiting to receive a formal invitation from the White House. He has recently made decisions and statements that have put him further away from reaching his goals and have sabotaged him despite his best efforts to do so.
Although the White House's official response to the prime minister's remarks about pushing judicial reform was muted, there is no doubt that if they do, Netanyahu can disregard the official invitation to the White House to meet with President Biden.
One anticipated outcome of the White House's continued boycott of Netanyahu would be for the king of Saudi Arabia to cover up his intentions to advance a normalization accord with Israel. Senior UN diplomats cite the efforts of Iran and the Gulf nations to improve relations as proof of Iran's success in raising its standing in the region. Notably that Iran's standing is compared to Israel's lack of presence in advanced communications to achieve a new nuclear agreement between the United States and Iran.
Benjamin Netanyahu has a deeper understanding of Washington than any other Israeli leader. However, there isn't a politician in Israel right now behaving in such a destructive way in the negotiations between the US government and Israel.
