Maariv – Adapted

The battle's smoke will clear from the skies over Jenin, the street merchants will return to the city center, and the Israeli army soldiers will return to their military barracks without fear. However, the age-old question "What's next?" will loom once more after the "House and Garden" military campaign is over.
Jenin long ago became a focal point of resistance work for the Palestinian resistance. Why Jenin specifically? Why don't we put an end to this upgrading resistance? These questions are posed by numerous outraged Israelis. When and whether it's not yet time to reevaluate the course and look for alternative approaches to confront the Palestinian resistance that threatens Israel were the crucial questions. On the other side, the young Palestinian generation with high hopes is wondering how long they will stay under occupation. We have a responsibility to do what our fathers and grandfathers couldn't do and to try to end this suffering.
When we try to tackle an issue that is this severe and basic, we must realize that violence against the Palestinian resistance is not the answer and that fire cannot be put out by fire. It will take bold leadership, free from influences, preconceptions, and demands, to eventually provide a sincere and accurate response to this truth.
Furthermore, this leadership must step forward to make concessions and agreements, even if they may be difficult for the individuals involved, because without them, a resolution to this conflict will not be feasible.
