Israeli Knesset member Yitzhak Kreuser called for expanding the scope of settlers carrying weapons, in a tweet on Twitter, as a response to Palestinian youth. He believes that 'the solution is armed citizens.'

Kreuser stated, 'In the current security reality we are experiencing, the presence of trained citizens carrying weapons for self-defense is of utmost importance.'

He further revealed that the Israeli Ministry of Interior had approved 'over 18,000 applications in the past six months, which is a record number.'
