So far, four American congress members have announced their boycott of the speech delivered by Israeli occupation entity's President, Yitzhak Herzog, before the U.S. Congress during his visit next Tuesday. Their boycott is in protest of the violations committed by the occupation against Palestinians.
Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Cori Bush, and Jamaal Bowman have joined Representative Ilhan Omar in boycotting Herzog's speech during a joint session of Congress (the Senate and the House), scheduled for next Wednesday.
Representative Bush stated, 'The Israeli government is responsible for enforcing a system of apartheid and gross violations of Palestinian rights... Congress should not provide a platform to a head of state that shows no respect for human rights.'"
