The operation was launched by Mohammad al-Deif the General Commander of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, in response to the Israeli crimes against Palestinians and its repeated incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque.

 

Since the start of the operation, according to the Ministry's statement, the total number of martyrs who have reached Gaza's hospitals until now is 687, including 140 children and 105 women, with around 3,800 wounded.

 

The medical teams continue to work tirelessly to save dozens of critical and severe cases in operating rooms and intensive care units.

 

Meanwhile, Israeli military estimates indicate that at least 1,100 Israelis have been killed and 2,741 others have been injured.
