Dr. Marwan Al-Hams, the head of field hospitals at the Ministry of Health in Gaza, said that the health sector in Gaza is witnessing a catastrophic situation, threatening to collaps completely.
Al-Hams emphasized that despite coordination with the World Health Organization, the gap between actual needs and the medical support provided is widening. He explained that the situation inside field hospitals is tragic, with the continued influx of wounded without the necessary resources to treat them. Medical teams face a severe shortage of the medicines and equipment needed to perform emergency surgeries, making the chances of saving lives diminish with time.
