The Prisoners’ Information Office reported that 31 Palestinian female prisoners in Israel’s Damon Prison are enduring inhumane conditions.

In a statement, the office said that prison guards stormed one of the women's rooms three times in a single week, and the clock was removed from the section, causing confusion among the prisoners who could no longer keep track of prayer or meal times.

The female prisoners are distributed across four cramped rooms lacking the most basic necessities of life. They suffer from a severe shortage of food, receiving only five slices of bread per day, in addition to a lack of hygiene supplies and prayer clothes.

The Prisoners’ Information Office also noted that there are sick female prisoners in urgent need of surgical treatment, amid deliberate medical neglect by the Israeli prison authorities.
