Settlers, led by the extremist Yehuda Glick, stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Moroccan Gate under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that 129 settlers entered Al-Aqsa in successive groups and performed Talmudic rituals.
The mosque’s gates were reopened yesterday after a six-day closure during which worshippers were prevented from performing prayers.
The occupation forces continue to impose strict measures around the mosque and the Old City, targeting Jerusalemites with assaults and obstructing their movement.
