Nestor Owomuhangi, the representative of the UN Population Fund in Palestine, stated that the Israeli occupation imposes a strict visa regime on UN staff, obstructing their access to Jerusalem and Gaza and paralyzing the delivery of humanitarian aid.
He noted that obtaining visas has become extremely difficult, disrupting reproductive health services and making it impossible to provide full care.
Owomuhangi stressed that the suffering of Gaza's residents exceeds human endurance, and that the current ceasefire is not enough to meet their basic needs.
