A recent poll by MIDGAM Institute shows New Hope party receiving 21 seats if Knesset elections are held as aired by Channel 12.

New Hope party was formed by Gideon Sa’ar who quit the Likud party. The results make New Hope second biggest party in the entity.

The poll was carried out after deputy Yifat Shasha-Biton announced leaving the Likud and joining Sa’ar’s new party. She was third to join after Yoaz Hendel and Zvi Hauser from the Blue and White party.

The poll also showed the Likud in the lead as the biggest Israeli party under PM Benjamin Netanyahu leadership. The party won 27 seats.

Yesh Atid alliance, under Yair Lapid’s leadership, won 14 seats. The New Right, led by Naftali Bennett, won 13 seats while the Joint List (4 Arab parties) won 11 seats.

The Haredi parties (Shas and United Torah Judaism) won 8 seats each. According to the poll’s results, the Blue and White, Yisrael Beiteinu and Meretz won 6 seats only.

Based on this information, the Right Bloc will win 56 seats and the Left along with the Joint List 37 seats.

Sa’ar’s party is then the main force that sets the scale to either side declaring the winner of the elections.
