Ismael Haniya, Chief of Hamas’ Political Bureau, called for the formation of a firmer bloc that is in line with an intifada as the choice of the people, and that supports the Palestinians’ steadfastness and agrees on the resistance.

Haniya delivered his speech at ''Gaza Symbol of Resistance" conference which was held in Tehran commemorating the 12th anniversary of the 2008 aggression on the Gaza Strip.  

Haniya also stressed that the threat to the Palestinian issue requires the agreement on an integrated strategic framework. He said that the choice of resistance and development of its means cannot be subjected to any extortions, and that the resistance will continue and the people will bear the burden.

He warned against the Deal of Century which targets the bases of the Palestinian cause, the annexation plan, and the normalization with the occupation. He urged for establishing stronger relations with all entities that reject the occupation’s practices and America’s clear biased attitude.
